It is a traditional alphabet created in schools (possibly in Colombia) which was used to send letters written by hand, to classmates. The objective was to be able to write a paper without people who understood the language they knew that it was written on the sheets in case it came to fall into their hands by mistake.
Now it has been around for around 13 years and LJDS takes the initiative to convert this alphabet into a digital typographic font.
Imagine what you can do by having another alternative from key sources.
