How to use Fonts in Brother Scan and Cut canvas workspace

1- Open Brother scan and cut canvas workspace software.

2- Select the text icon and then type your text.

3- Click on the font drop down box. There are two on the workspace. At the top toolbar and also on the side toolbar.

4- When you click the dropdown box, you can select your font. all the fonts that are loaded into your PC will be available to use. I am using the font Bobbie Script from Font Bundles.

5- With your text you can change the fill color. Click on the fill image. A new window will appear. Select the color you would like then click ok.

6- You can also change the line color. Click on the line color icon. A new window will appear and you can again select the color you like and click ok.

7- In the style drop down box you can change the style type. This includes italic and bold.

8- One of the other options you have is to choose to cut or draw your lines.

9- The align tool is also on the right. This gives you the option to select several designs or texts and align them to left, right center, as well as top and bottom.

10-On the right there are four icons on the right. click the edit one to be able to change the scale option. This is an alternative to scale your text accurately rather than using the toggles.

11- You also have the transform too where you can change the degree of the angle your text is written.

12-You can also flip your designs. This is a great tool when using text that needs to be cut for heat transfer vinyl.
