JOLLY JIGSAW FONT | a fun Jigsaw Puzzle Font
This Jolly Jigsaw font was created as a fun display typeface. A jigsaw bold font. It's playful, quirky and lots of fun!
A jigsaw puzzle font in which the characters are inspired by jigsaw pieces. All letters include the connecting ears and in some cases these ears can be overlapped on other letters to create adjoining pieces although this is not always the case and the Jolly Jigsaw font was designed to be fun and legible with a hint of jigsaw puzzle pieces rather than as an interlocking system.
(We do have another Jigsaw font which connects in a more accurate portrayal of a jigsaw puzzle! Not released yet, keep your eyes open, 'like us' and 'follow' to get updates on when this is released!)
Whilst created as a jigsaw puzzle font for fun and games designs we also felt this would work really well for valentines designs and as an autism font. For people who love jigsaws, or games in general. Use as an autism puzzle piece font. Use for love themed designs where couples are adjoined or become the 'missing piece' in a relationship. Use for something bold, colorful and quirky!
This jigsaw font can look great on t-shirts, mugs, hats, tumblers... whatever your project requires!
As a display font we do not recommend using Jolly Jigsaw for paragraphs of text. We suggest using this jigsaw puzzle font for headlines and titles. Perhaps for small quotes and straplines. It looks great in ALL CAPITALS! You may need to type the jigsaw puzzle letter font in as individual characters, perhaps convert to outline/paths and manually rotate, scale and position to create aesthetically pleasing combinations and arrangements of this jigsaw font.
Multilingual Font
Full uppercase, lowercase and special characters. Includes the full European character set including western, central and south eastern glyphs.
An Autism Font
Jolly Jigsaw can also be used as an autism font. As the jigsaw is often connected to autism as a visual aid it can be used as an autism puzzle piece font. We've included an example of this in our preview images and you can find some of our very own autism puzzle font designs in our store! (See below). A little bit about Little Type Factory...
I've been a professional Graphic Designer for over 20 years since studying Art & Design, then Graphics, at University and completing a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design.
