For designers who have opentype capable software : The alternates are accessible by turning on "All Characters" or " PUA Encoded’’ buttons on in Photoshop's Character panel(Window/Glyphs), or via any software with a glyphs panel, e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop CC, Inkscape.
