I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Lori Whitlock and I've been designing Silhouette and SVG cut files for over 8 years. I have a blog and frequently teach at Silhouette events and on my site. I'm thrilled that Font Bundles has asked me to be a blog tutorial contributor. So, you'll be seeing me around here more regularly.
Today I'd like to talk about one of the exciting new features in Silhouette Studio V4.1, the ability to access glyphs. What are glyphs, you ask?
Glyphs are all the awesome extra characters that are included with some fonts that don't type with keyboard strokes. In the past you had to access them through Font Book (Mac) or Character Map (PC). But, with the V4.1 update, you can access them right within Silhouette Studio. This is awesome because it will make working with all the cute fonts that include glyphs from Font Bundles so much easier. Yay!
I have made a video tutorial showing you exactly how to use the new Glyphs feature.
