Personal License (Hobbyist Tier)
- Covered: Creating finished items for your own personal use, as well as making direct gifts for family and friends.
- Not Covered: Selling physical or digital end products, using graphics or fonts for commercial branding, sending items to third-party printers or POD services, or donating items where you receive non-monetary recognition for your brand.
Premium License + POD License (Unlimited Tier)
- Physical Products: Create and sell an unlimited number of finished physical goods (clothing, drinkware, household linens, posters, jewelry, stickers, etc.) made solely by the licensee using your own equipment.
- Print-on-Demand (POD) & Third-Party Manufacturing: Upload or send designs as-is to third-party printers, POD platforms (such as Merch by Amazon, Redbubble, Printify, Zazzle), or outside manufacturers to produce finished physical goods on your behalf.
- Digital Designs & Transformative Use: Use purchased graphics in new digital designs provided the graphics are modified, combined, and transformed into an original, non-competing layout per our Transformative Guidelines.
- Fonts & Branding: Create flattened text designs, logos, and business packaging/stationery. Fonts can be embedded in apps/e-books or used as web fonts (up to 100,000 page views per month).
- Restrictions: Reselling or redistributing raw design or font files as-is, extracting individual elements to share, or transferring raw files to third parties for their own use is strictly prohibited.
Corporate License (Business Tier)
- Multi-User Company Coverage: Valid for all employees and members across unlimited company-owned computers and devices within a single company or organization.
- Physical & Tool Production: Create unlimited physical goods, transfers, stencils, dies, molds, and stamps that can be used by company members or sold/given to customers as finished tools to create physical products.
- Customization Platforms: Use fonts and graphics inside company-run web-based design templates or customizer platforms (such as Templett, Corjl, or proprietary tools) where end users input text/options, provided the output is delivered as a flattened digital file or printed physical product.
- Unlimited Broadcasting & Web Use: Unlimited page views for web fonts on company-owned sites and unlimited views/impressions across broadcasting projects (TV, streaming, film, commercial video).
3. Overview of Transformative Guidelines
Our base licensing requires that whenever you are creating new digital products, client work (like logos), or physical tools/goods where an outside party is involved (unless covered under our included POD license), purchased design elements must be transformed into a new, unique design.
What Makes a Design "Transformative"?
- Combine & Overlap: Purchased elements (illustrations, clipart, or patterns) must be edited, rearranged, overlapped, and combined with other distinct graphics or text so that the original asset forms only a component of a brand-new, original composition.
- Not Standalone: The new design must stand on its own as a unique work. Minor changes (such as simple recoloring or minimal text additions to an as-is graphic) do not meet the transformative threshold.
- Print-Ready & Detailed Artwork: Intricate illustrations or pre-made print-ready designs may be difficult to alter enough to qualify as transformative. If a design cannot be sufficiently transformed, it cannot be used to generate new digital end products or shared with third parties.
- Font Characters: Font glyphs and individual characters cannot be converted into standalone digital alphabet sets (e.g., SVG, PNG, or embroidery alphabets) intended for customers to assemble their own words. Fonts must be flattened into completed, multi-letter word or phrase designs.
4. General Terms & Conditions
- Ownership: All original copyright and intellectual property rights belong exclusively to the original creator and Design Bundles Ltd. Licenses grant non-exclusive usage rights, not copyright ownership.
- Expressly Prohibited Use: Assets may not be used in any pornographic, fraudulent, illegal, harassing, or defamatory manner. Converting font characters or graphics as-is into standalone digital alphabet packages or competing craft resources is strictly prohibited.
- Lifetime Coverage: Downloaded assets remain covered for your lifetime under the terms of the license assigned to your tier at the time of download. License rights are non-transferable.
