Norel Rugged Hand Drawn Display Font

Meet Norel, a bold hand-drawn display font created for typography that needs strength, personality, and an unmistakably human touch.

Norel combines heavy handmade strokes, irregular outlines, natural proportions, and subtle imperfections to create a distinctive display style that feels spontaneous without becoming messy. Each character carries small variations and organic details that give words a handcrafted appearance while keeping the overall typeface balanced and easy to use.

The strong, compact letterforms make Norel especially effective for headlines and statement typography, where its handmade construction immediately adds character. At the same time, its relatively clean shapes make it versatile enough for contemporary branding and graphic design.

Norel works beautifully for logos, branding projects, packaging design, posters, editorial graphics, book covers, advertising, social media content, labels, creative campaigns, signage, album artwork, invitations, headlines, quotes, product graphics, and identity systems.

The font’s rugged personality can complement projects with an artistic, independent, natural, youthful, handmade, unconventional, or contemporary aesthetic. Use it large to highlight its imperfect contours, or combine it with a clean serif or sans serif to create strong typographic contrast.

Norel includes an extensive character set with uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, punctuation, symbols, accented characters, and multilingual support.
